Adjusting Launch Settings for HSSM

Administrative users can launch HSSM from the Dashboard menu by linking with HSSM. Following are the required settings for achieving this:

Create the StorageServiceManager.conf file in the following location, then specify the LaunchURL parameter.

Windows(R):

HiCommand-Suite-Common-Component-installation-directory\common

Solaris(TM):

/opt/HiCommand/Base/common

Parameter format: LaunchURL= HSSM-URL

In HSSM-URL, specify the URL used to start HSSM. For details about this URL, see the HSSM documentation. For example, if the name of the HSSM management server is machinename, configure the StorageServicesManager.conf as follows:

For Secure Connections:

LaunchURL=https://machinename

For No Secure Connections:

LaunchURL=http://machinename
