Welcome to the HiCommand(R) Tuning Manager Help

This Help system is an information resource that is intended for people (including, but not limited to, system integrators, technology consultants, system architects, application developers and capacity planners) who use Tuning Manager to perform routine reporting tasks, alert configuration, and performance troubleshooting on the client machine. This audience includes administrative-level personnel.

To successfully operate Tuning Manager, we recommend that users have a basic knowledge of:

• Windows(R) management functions

• Storage Area Networks (SANs) and Network Attached Storage (NAS)

• Data processing and peripheral storage device subsystems and their basic functions

If you are new to Tuning Manager, start with the first book, Introducing Tuning Manager, located on the left pane. For instructions on specific tasks, refer to the applicable usage and troubleshooting books.

References to additional documentation resources are included in applicable topics throughout this Help system. The referenced documents contain information related to overviews or tasks, which is not yet incorporated into this version of Help.
