Edit Password Conditions

This help page provides information to guide you through the procedure for establishing or editing Navigator 2 password conditions.

To establish or edit password conditions

1. In the Administration tree, click Security>Password. The Password window displays.

2. Click the Edit Settings button. The edit page for passwords window displays.

3. Enter a minimum length for the password. The length can be between 1 and 256 characters.

4. Enter the minimum number of specific character types as follows:

1. Uppercase letters

2. Lowercase letters

3. numeric - numbers

4. symbolic -symbols

3. Set the condition that allows the password to be the same character string as the User ID. Click Yes or No.

4. Click OK.
