NOTE: If the host on which Navigator 2 is installed does not have internet access, write down the information displayed about the repair part, log on to the Hitachi Data Systems Support website from another system and order the part manually.
This help page provides information about the information displayed in the Alarms dialog box.
In the Array List window, either click the name of the array for which you want to display alarm information, or click the next to the name of the array and then click Show and Configure Array. The Array Properties window is displayed.
In the Common Array Tasks area, click Check for Errors. The Events and Alerts window is displayed.
In the Events and Alerts window, click Event Log to display the Event Log tab. The Alarm Information dialog is displayed. It provides brief information about the failure that caused the alarm and also provides the recovery procedure(s). During the recovery procedure, you will access the Hitachi Data Systems Support website to order the repair part to replace the failed part in the array.
