Change RAID Manager Protection

This help page provides information to guide you through the procedure to change RAID Manager Protection on command devices..

After you assign a logical unit as a command device, you can protect it by enabling RAID manager protection for the device. To change the RAID protection for a command device:

1. In the Command Devices window, select one or more command devices by clicking the (es) to the left of the device name(s)..

2. Click Change RAID Manager Protection. The Change RAID Manager Protection dialog box is displayed.

3. Click the to enable RAID Manager Protection or remove the check in the to disable protection..

4. Click OK to apply the setting. A message box indicating that the change has been made is displayed.

5. Click Close to close the dialog box and return to the Command Devices window.   The entries in the RAID Manager Protection column should now say Enable for each command device that you selected..
