Migration
Guard. This help page provides information to guide you through the procedure to check whether a replacement array has data on it or not. This function is part of the migration procedure used to replaced a failed array with a new one.
The Check for New Array function scans a replacement array, determines whether it has data on it or not, and informs users of the status. If the array has data on it, you must specifically acknowledge that you will be overwriting the array by releasing Migration Guard. This is because the Migration Guard protects data from being overwritten by the copy feature of Array Migration.
