This help page provides information to guide you through the tasks to manage controllers. It contains the following topics:
An array contains one or two controllers, depending on the model. A controller is the interface between the host that is connected to the controller and the hard drives in the array.
To display the status of a controller:
In the Array List window, click the name of the array of interest or click the next to its name and them click Show and Configure Array. The Array Properties window and the Array Settings tree are displayed.
In the Array Settings tree, expand the Components menu and click Controllers. The Controllers window is displayed. It displays a table that lists each controller in the array and the status of each listed controller. The status can be Normal or Warning.
