MigrationThis help page provides information to guide you through the procedure to copy the data from a failed array to the replacement array. It contains the following topics:
Create Copy is part of the auto migration procedure . It copies the user and system data from a failed array to a replacement array.
To create a copy of the data and system information on the original array:
In the Summary area of the window, verify that the Migration Status indicates New Array Connected.
In the Migration Flow area of the window, click Create Copy. A confirmation dialog is displayed.
After reading the messages in the dialog box, click OK if you wish to continue.
A second dialog box indicating that copy process has started is displayed. Click Close to close the dialog.
The system begins the Checking, Preparing to Create Copy, and Creating Copy process. Once the Migration Status reaches the Creating Copy stage, a progress indicator shows the percentage completed.
