Email Alert

This help page provides information to guide you through the procedures to manage email alerts.  It contains the following topics:

Overview   (back to top)

The Email Alert window provides controls that you can use to set up and manage email alerts sent from a selected array. When email alerts are set up and a failure occurs in the array, an email is sent from the array to the registered email address(es) to alert the addresses of the failure. The email is sent directly from the management port on the array controller. This port, therefore, must be connected to the LAN. Sending an email is not influenced by whether the server hosted by Navigator 2 is connected or not.
