Executing a Spin-down

To spin-down the disks of a selected RAID Group:

1. From the array tree, click Power Saving > RG Power Saving. The RG Power Saving window is displayed.

2. Select the RAID Group that you want to spin down and click Execute Spin Down. A confirmation dialog is displayed.

3. Click Confirm and a warning dialog is displayed.

4. Review the warning information.

5. To proceed with the spin-down, click Yes, I have read the above warning and agree to spin down the RAID groups and then click Confirm. Click Cancel to abort the operation. The result dialog is displayed.

6. Click Close and confirm your new setting from the RG Power Saving window.
