Install Tray

This help page provides information to guide you through the procedure to install an expansion module in a selected base array.

To install a tray in a selected array:

1. Click Install Tray with the tray window. An illustration of the installation procedure is displayed.

2. Perform cabling according to the illustration.

3. Select the type of tray you want to install by choosing either Standard or Dense next to Install Tray Type.

4. Click OK. The Install Tray status window appears.

5. The system attempts to detect and install the tray in the loop. This process may take a minute to complete, then a completion message appears.

6. Click OK to close the window and return to the Tray window.

7. If you have additional expansion modules to install, click Install Next Tray and repeat this procedure.
