Drive UnitsThis help page provides information to guide you through the procedure to display the list of components in Tray 00. It contains the following topics:
The Simple Modular Storage System contains is a self-contained unit that has only one tray. When you display the tray, you can see all of the physical components in the tray listed in one view.
The Adaptable Modular Storage System supports multiple Expansion Units that provide additional storage capacity.
To display the components of Tray 00:
In the Array List window, click the name of the array of interest or click the next to its name and them click Show and Configure Array. The Array Properties window and the Array Settings tree are displayed.
In the Array Settings tree, expand the Components menu and click Trays. The Trays window is displayed. Only Tray 00 is listed in the Tray table as described above.
In the Trays window, click the name Tray 00. The Tray window is displayed. The Tray 00 table lists the name, status, and type of each component in the tray, except for the controllers. The controllers are listed separately in the components tree..
To display detailed information about any of the hard disks listed in the tray, click the name of the hard disk unit (HDU) of interest. A separate window is displayed. See the HDU help page for information about the data displayed in the hard disk unit window.
