This help page provides information to guide you through the procedure to display the list of trays in the array. It contains the following topics:
The Simple Modular Storage System has only one tray because it is self-contained unit and is not divided up as some of Hitachi's larger systems are. Therefore, when you display the tray, you can see all of he physical components in the tray listed at one time.
To display the properties of the tray:
In the Array List window, click the name of the array of interest or click the next to its name and them click Show and Configure Array. The Array Properties window and the Array Settings tree are displayed.
In the Array Settings tree, expand the Components menu and click Trays. The Trays window is displayed. Only Tray 00 is listed in the Tray table as described above.
The Tray table displays the status and serial number of the tray. Note that this serial number is the same as the serial number of the array, because the tray and the array are actually the same thing in this case.
To display the properties of Tray 00, click the name of the tray. The Tray 00 window is displayed. See the help page for Tray 00 for information on that window.
