Class XmppsMessageInEvent

java.lang.Object
  |
  +--java.util.EventObject
        |
        +--ipworksssl.XmppsMessageInEvent
All Implemented Interfaces:
java.io.Serializable

public class XmppsMessageInEvent
extends java.util.EventObject

This event is fired upon receipt of a message.

When a message is received, the XMPP bean will parse the sender's Jabber ID into the From , Domain , and Resource fields. These parameters can be used to track the exact instance of a user's account that originated the message.

The MessageText parameter is the plaintext portion of the message body. MessageHTML will contain any HTML from the message.

The Xmpp bean associates several properties with messages, and will set them whenever a message is received from the server. They are as follows:

MessageType
the type of the message to be sent
MessageSubject
for "headline" type messages, this is the subject
MessageThread
for "chat" type messages, this is the thread on which the current message is a follow-up.
OtherData
any extra data associated with the message but not required by the protocol.
