Parameters

Name Meaning

OID

Indicates the ID of the MIB object.

APMAC

Indicates the MAC address of an AP.

DstIP

Specifies the destination IP address of the soft GRE tunnel.

APName

Indicates the AP name.

APID

Indicates the AP ID.

Impact on the System

User services cannot be forwarded through the soft GRE tunnel, causing service interruption.

Possible Causes

After the Keepalive detection function is enabled on the AP, the AP detects that the peer ME60 of the tunnel is unreachable.

The soft GRE configuration on the ME60 is incorrect, causing the ME60 to fail to respond to the heartbeat packets sent by the AP.

The intermediate network between the AP and the peer ME60 is disconnected.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the soft GRE function is enabled on the VE interface terminating the soft GRE tunnel.
  2. Check whether a correct IP address is assigned to the loopback interface.
  3. Check whether the soft GRE group is bound to the VE interface and loopback interface.
  4. Check whether the ME60 can ping the AP.
  5. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.
