Possible Causes

The IP address of an AP conflicted with that of another NE.

Procedure

Check whether the IP address of the AP is statically configured.
- If so, go to Step 2.
- If not, go to Step 3.
Check whether the static IP address of the AP conflicts with another IP address.
- If so, go to Step 4.
- If not, go to Step 3.
Check whether multiple DHCP address pools with the same or overlapped IP address segments exist on the network.
- If so, go to Step 5.
- If not, go to Step 6.
Change the IP address of the AP.
- If the alarm persists, go to Step 6.
- If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 7.
Configure different IP address segments for the DHCP address pools.
- If the alarm persists, go to Step 6.
- If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 7.
Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.
