1
00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:13,320
Hello and welcome to lesson 4. In this lesson we'll cover hardware management. I'll start

2
00:00:13,320 --> 00:00:18,240
by explaining in a generic way how a computer works with hardware components, which is followed

3
00:00:18,240 --> 00:00:23,280
by a demo where you'll learn how to list and identify hardware components. You will then

4
00:00:23,280 --> 00:00:28,400
learn about managing kernel modules and how Systemd UDFD is helping with that. This is

5
00:00:28,400 --> 00:00:33,160
followed by a video about UDEF rules, and another about getting storage information

6
00:00:33,160 --> 00:00:39,279
from your local file system. In the last video you'll learn how to manage kernel parameters.

7
00:00:39,279 --> 00:00:42,480
And at the end of this lesson you'll find the lab as well as the lab solution.
