1
00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:08,760
Welcome to Python Essentials.

2
00:00:08,760 --> 00:00:12,560
In this lesson, you'll learn about different features that are provided by the Python scripting

3
00:00:12,560 --> 00:00:13,920
language.

4
00:00:13,920 --> 00:00:17,360
The focus is not on teaching how to write Python scripts.

5
00:00:17,360 --> 00:00:19,120
That would need more than this.

6
00:00:19,120 --> 00:00:24,480
The focus is on skills you need to know about for administrating Linux with Python.

7
00:00:24,480 --> 00:00:29,400
I'll first tell you about setting up virtual environments and next you'll learn about PIP.

8
00:00:29,400 --> 00:00:35,119
Then we'll explore using modules, which is followed by a video about data types and structures.

9
00:00:35,119 --> 00:00:39,480
After that we'll explore modules and packages, and I'll tell you about PEP.

10
00:00:39,480 --> 00:00:44,119
At the end of lesson lab, you'll work on an example where Python virtual environments are used.
