Air Shield

The optionally licensed Air Shield features provide an extra level of security by detecting and mitigating interfering APs (Air Firewall).  Air Firewall settings allow interfering BSSIDs exceptions within the Air Firewall. 

Air Shield also allows you to set a time interval when wireless operation is not provided, ensuring no clients can associate.

To activate the Air Firewall, click the checkbox next to Air Firewall (Level 10 required).

• Using the Allowed OUIs address boxes, enter up to three interfering BSSIDs (non (^)Company(^)-BSSIDs) that are allowed within the WLAN.) (This is not the same as the ACL Allowed list.) 

To activate the wireless operation restriction, click the checkbox next to Daily Out-of-service (Level 10 required).

• To restrict service, set the time interval using the Start and End boxes, with 24-hour clock hr:min format (Level 10 required).
