AP Replacement Table (Level 10 required)

When you replace existing APs with upgraded models, the AP Replacement feature can automatically transfer your site’s AP settings to the new models. The settings that are tracked and tranferred are the channel number, preamble, and power settings. The AP Replacement feature requires the MAC addresses of both the new and old APs. Check the MAC addresses of the APs to be replaced with the Detailed>Access Points>Configuration table.

Note: You can swap an AP for a different model. Some settings may not transfer, but most will transfer.
