Import Captive Portal File (requires Level 10 permission)

Before you import files that are customized for the Captive Portal login, be sure to click the Customization link under Captive Portal on the left navigational pane and complete the steps listed there.

NOTE: The custom graphics file that you are importing (whether it be a GIF, BMP, JPEG) must be less than 20K in size to upload properly.

Importing Captive Portal Pages

The steps to import your customized Captive Portal pages are as follows:

1. Click Maintenance > Captive Portal > Import File.
2. Click Browse to locate the area where your customized files reside.
3. Select a file and click Import File.
4. After all files have been uploaded, check your work by pointing a browser to the URL: https://controller/vpn/customfile.html where customfile.html is the name of your updated file.

Restoring the Default Settings

Should it be necessary to reset the system to the default settings, return to the Customization page and click Delete Files, and then Restore Default.
