GRE Configuration

Note:  GRE is an optional feature. To use and configure it, you must have a license. Use this page (Configuration > Wired > GRE) to do the following:

To review a summary of GRE profile  information

To see updated GRE profile information, click Refresh.

The following table lists the GRE profile  information you can review.

GRE Name Name of the GRE profile.
Remote External Address The IP address of the remote tunnel endpoint.
Tunnel IP Address IP address of the local endpoint of the GRE tunnel.
Tunnel IP Netmask Subnet mask for the local endpoint  IP address.
Local External FastEthernet Index Ethernet interface (1 or 2) used by the tunnel.
To add a GRE profile (Level 10 required):
Click Add. The GRE Configuration - Add page displays.
To delete a GRE profile (Level 10 required):
  1. From the list of GRE profiles, select the checkbox of the GRE profile you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete. The GRE profile is deleted.
To modify a GRE profile (Level 10 required):
  1. From the list of GRE profiles, select the checkbox of the GRE profile you want to modify.
  2. Click Settings. GRE Configuration - Update page appears.
To review additional information about a GRE profile:
  1. From the list of GRE profiles, select the checkbox for the GRE profile.
  2. Click View Details. The GRE Configuration - Details page appears.
