IP Addresses - Update (requires Level 10 permission)

Use this page (Configuration > Devices > System Settings > IP Address > select an IP address) to change the controller interface IP address information. You can edit IP Address, Net Mask, and Gateway IP when Assignment Type is set to Static IP address assigned and Interface Mode.

1. In the IP Address boxes, type the IP address of this interface.

   For an N+1 redundant configuration, the second Ethernet interface must be configured with a static IP address of the same L2 domain as the primary interface. For an active configuration, the second Ethernet interface must be configured with a static IP address to a different  L2 domain as the primary interface.

2. In the Netmask boxes, type the subnet mask of the interface.
3. In the Gateway text boxes, type the IP address of the gateway in use.
4. In the Assignment Type list, select one of the following:
   • Static IP address assigned
   • DHCP

   The static IP address must be used for both active and redundant secondary Ethernet interface assignments. 

5. In the Interface Mode list, select one of the following:
   • Active
   • Redundant
6. Click OK.
7. Reboot the controller.
