The following table lists the additional security rules information you can review:

Security Profile Name Security profile associated with the security rule.
Security Rule Name Name of the security rule.
Rule Priority Numeric value identifying priority of the security rule. Rules with lower priority values are evaluated first.
L2 Mode
  • Clear: The Meru WLAN does not require a station to use 802.1x authentication or encryption. 802.1x authentication and static WEP keys are fully supported in this mode, and the WLAN secures traffic for those clients.
  • 802.1x: Requires 802.11 encryption.
  • Static WEP keys: Requires stations to use a static WEP key.
L3 Mode
  • None
  • VPN Only
  • WebAuth
  • All Modes
Security Rule Action
  • Deny: Traffic from a client matching this security rule is dropped.
  • Forward to Default VLAN: Traffic coming from a client matching this security rule is accepted.
  • Forward to Configured VLAN: Traffic coming from a client matching this security rule is redirected to a specified VLAN.
