AP Wireless Resources

Use this page to review the access points seen by the controller, and the amount of wireless resources the access points have available to them.

The Meru WLAN analyzes and detects, globally, the amount of wireless resources (available airtime) that each access point has available to it at any given time. This resource is measured as available fractions of time. Each QoS flow occupies some amount of resources, that neighboring APs are not able to reuse until the flow finishes. This page shows the amount of resources currently in use, and the amount requested.

Use this page to get a sense of the amount of resource loading for QoS (quality of service) flows within the WLAN, as well as for the density of clients and access points within range of each access point.

AP ID Unique numeric identifier of the access point.
AP Name Name of the access point.
Resource Requested Fraction of bandwidth, in milliseconds (ms) per second, for the access point that is currently requested by some flow. Pending flows appear here as resource requests.
Resource Allocated Fraction of bandwidth (ms/sec) for the group that is currently in use by some flow.
Neighbor Count Number of visible access point neighbors.
Attached Count Number of stations that have probes to join the network.
Assigned Count Number of stations that have been assigned to an access point.
