OpenScape Branch (OSB)
The OpenScape 4000 container capabilities have been extended to host also an OpenScape Branch. This can be achieved via the left hand side Portal menu OpenScape SBC/ Branch Software Management as seen below.

To activate and configure the hosted OpenScape Branch, first upload the hOSB image (bz2 file) via OpenScape SBC/ Branch Software Management menu, then open System -> LAN Configuration -> System and enter the hOSB Customer IP address. Note that this is only possible after a hOSB image has already been imported.

The hOSB image upload and activation process is similar to the hSBC procedure described in chapter 6.2.
Only the basic aspects sufficient to reach the OpenScape Branch Management Portal are supposed to be configured in LAN Configuration on the OS4K. The complete configuration should be done in the OSB Management Portal itself.
Similar to the hosted Session Border Controller, it takes a few minutes until the OpenScape Branch Management Portal is fully responsive on the network.)
