Two add-on devices are required for alphanumeric input for optiset. The keys are assigned as follows:

The SHIFT keys (lower right, indicated with –) cannot be used for DTB V9.0.
You can use the Caps key to switch between uppercase and lowercase, just like on the numeric keyboard with the ‘*’, ‘*’ combination. The current setting can be seen on the right side of the first line:
Uppercase: @
Lowercase: a
NOTE:
Alphanumeric input is also possible with the
optiset E Memory
’s alphabetic keyboard.
The letters ä, ö, ü are written without umlauts in DTB V9.0.
