Prefix for the Telephone Numbers in the Common Directory
To avoid conflicts with other applications that use the same OpenScape 4000 Manager/Assistant as DTB, DTB allows a user-specified prefix to be defined for synchronizing the common directory.
This prefix can be defined in the hdms_conv_ext.pfx and hdms_conv_int.pfx files after DTB Master has been installed.
1.
Open the above-named files using an editor (such as notepad.exe).
2.
Enter a value in the cell in the first row and column.
Note: when the DTB data are synchronized, this value will be automatically prefixed to the area code or telephone number defined in the OpenScape 4000 Manager/Assistant.
3.
Save the file and close the editor program.
The pfx files for each installation are supplied without any content or values, and only
one
prefix can be defined for each pfx file.
