2.3.11 Automatic generation/distribution of DTB phone directory files

The automatic generation/distribution of DTB phone directory files corresponding to the DTB Node Directory feature is coupled with the data synchronization with OpenScape 4000 Manager/Assistant central database ODF. The assignment of subscribers to subdirectories is based on the Virtual Node Access Code (VNAC) field, where the subdirectory names are determined by the VNAC values. Subscribers with empty VNAC value are interpreted as not assigned to any subdirectory (members of Common directory).
Preconditions:
•
DTB Node Directory feature is enabled (see C.1).
•
DTB is installed with data synchronization type ‘synchronization with OpenScape Manager’ option selected.

The selected data for PORTPERS table of OpenScape 4000 Manager central database (ODF) is supplemented by the ‘vnac’ field:

The request files DTBIntGeheim.req and DTBIntGeheimRNR.req contain the vnac field name in the SELECT clause parameter list.

The converting file for internal subscriber data hdms_conv_int.cfg has following structure (field names printed in bold are mandatory):

If above conditions are fulfilled, then the synchronization process will run off automatically at the configured time performing following activities:
•
Query the necessary data from PORTPERS table of OpenScape 4000 Manager central database (ODF).
•
Generation of directory data and index files sorted by name, phone number and T9 index (see C.2).
•
Distribution of directory data and index files among all DTB Servers in DTB network.
