Connected: Activate this option if this component is connected to the UPS via power cable.

The component where the USB cable to the UPS device is connected must be configured as Master (USB).
The other components which take the power supply from the same UPS device must be configured as slaves (Slave (LAN)). The slaves are connected to the master via LAN.

In the case of servers that are configured as slaves, the Master IP address must be entered manually.
The UPS Demon calculates permanently how long the power is sufficient for all connected components. If the value is reached that is entered in the field min Runtime in Minutes then all connected components will be shut down.
NOTE: The value displayed under the Sysinfo page for Device will be shutdown when xx minutes of UPS battery runtime are left may differ to the configured min. Runtime in Minutes. This is because the value is converted and calculated as a percentage before displaying it again in minutes under the Sysinfo page.
Press the Submit button to confirm your entries. It can take up to 30 seconds then the control panel symbols have been updated and a confirmation message is displayed.
In a separated duplex system where nodes A and B are geographically separated, each server will have its own power supply and UPS.
