4.2.4 Bad Block Handling
If bad blocks are found during check, the user will be informed with a message and in the column Bad Blocks.
The function Create Recovery HD will not be offered, if bad blocks are found.

Select Maintenance > Recovery HD.

Last Action and Result column shows the actual status, in this case Check for Bad Block and Found Bad Block(s).
With the Show Details button you will get detailed information about the SMART attributes and values. The SMART values are also displayed in the Hard Disk Status page (see Section 3.5, “Hard Disk Status”).
