Node 1 WAN Ethernet port
OpenScape SBC needs spare physical ethernet port for its WAN interface that will typically be public-facing. In SBC terminology this corresponds to the Access realm Main network interface. This network interface will disappear from the OpenScape 4000 Platform and will be solely dedicated to the SBC container. OpenScape SBC will also set up firewall on this interface, ensuring safety and proper isolation. Technically it's nearly impossible to break through this port to the host OpenScape 4000 Platform.
NOTE:
To assign the chosen interface back to the OpenScape 4000 Platform, simply deactivate the hosted SBC.
